This program and the presentation contents are consistent with current guidelines and evidence base. The program is presented on behalf of the Hidradenitis Suppurativa Foundation. It was developed by dermatologists at Penn State Health, including HS expert and HS Foundation President Dr. Joslyn Kirby, in collaboration with the HS Foundation.
Dr. Brittany Waller is a board-certified dermatologist in both Canada and the United States of America. She is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of Saskatchewan. Dr. Waller practices complex medical dermatology, provides inpatient dermatology consultation services to Southern Saskatchewan and is active in medical education. She also holds a subspecialty fellowship in dermatologic laser surgery and is active in clinical trials and research. McKenzie Van Eaton is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Saskatchewan with an interest in addressing skin conditions and improving healthcare access for rural communities. Raised in Saskatchewan, she is passionate about accessibility and aims to continue her medical education and patient care work in remote areas during her residency.
