Call for Abstracts - MINI Rural & Remote 2025

Now Accepting Abstracts for MINI R&R 2025!

We are excited to invite you to participate in the 2nd Annual Rural and MINI Remote Medicine Conference (MINI RR 2025), taking place September 20, 2025 in Regina, Saskatchewan!

While attendee registration will open in the Summer, we are currently seeking submissions for abstracts to contribute to the success of the event. We invite you to submit your abstract for presentations and hands-on skills training opportunities.

Abstract Submission Deadline: June 30th, 2025

Abstract Categories

The Planning Committee is accepting abstract submissions for the following session types:

1. Session Lectures (Breakout Sessions)
   Engaging 60-minute presentations focused on knowledge-sharing, clinical updates, or innovations in rural and remote healthcare.

2. Hands-on Workshops (Small Group Learning)
   Interactive, skills-based sessions designed for deeper clinical learning. Standard length is 60 minutes, but proposals for 2-hour sessions are welcome.

Peer Review Process

All abstract submissions will be reviewed by the Mini Rural & Remote Planning Committee. You will only be contacted if your abstract is selected for inclusion in the program.

Submission Requirements

Please ensure your abstract includes the following required information:

• Lead Presenter: Name and email

• Co-Presenters: List any co-presenters (if applicable)

• Presentation Details: Title, description, learning objectives, CanMEDS roles, and relevant tags

• Conflicts of Interest: Disclose any conflicts of interest

• Additional Information: Any other relevant details for your abstract
